Author Biographies

Krisztián Fonyódi

Krisztián Fonyódi is Head of Digital Photography Department at the Museum of Arts Budapest, and Supervisor of Digitisation at the Ministry of Human Capacities. For four years he has been member of the International Digital Exhibition Working Group. Additionally, he is leading the digitization project museum-digital in Hungary which helps large and small Hungarian museums to publish information about their objects and to create a digital inventory as well.

János Bednárik

János Bednárik is a young researcher at the Institute of Ethnology of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and a Ph.D. candidate. He carries out research into the culture of the Germans in Hungary, and the relationship between the Catholic Church and village societies. As a member of the museum-digital project, he works on the digital utilization of the materials of German museums in Hungary and the development of the digital exhibition module of Themator.
