Foreword

Tadeusz Zwiefka has been a Member of European Parliament from Kujawsko-Pomorskie Region in Poland since 2004. Tadeusz was elected as an EPP Group coordinator in the Legal Affairs Committee in 2009. His competence has been in the field of civil and commercial cross border litigation, legal aid and certain aspects of family law. He is also a member of the Delegation to the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly. In March 2014 he was chosen as a chief of electoral campaign of Platforma Obywatelska to the European Parliament. In November 2016 Tadeusz was elected Vice Chair of the EPP Group responsible for communication. Tadeusz is a former journalist. For 20 years he was engaged with the Polish Public broadcaster. He was a host of Wiadomości — the main information program in TVP 1, anchorperson of W centrum uwagi, and co-author and editor Telekurier — publicists’ and reporters’ programmes. Between 1991 and 1994, Tadeusz was a parliamentary correspondent.
